To showcase Regent Street’s commitment to sustainability we have teamed up with the Sustainable Restaurant Association to tackle the growing issue of food waste and position both areas as destinations that are home to restaurants who are conscious of their impact on the planet and who prioritise a better food future.
As part of this campaign, we aim to collectively reduce food waste across Regent Street by 25% by May 2020 and be the first destination in the UK to introduce a pledge of this kind, ahead the UN’s 2025 goal of reducing UK food/drink waste by 20%. The pledge consists of free of charge training and support for chefs as well as robust PR support to spread the word to consumers of this pioneering initiative.
